Terms

Terms of use

These cover the website. They are not the terms of any engagement — those are agreed in writing before work starts.

What this site is

A personal website describing marketing consultancy work, published by Oliver Carding, Manchester, United Kingdom.

Accuracy

The case studies describe engagements that happened, and the figures in them were accurate when measured, on the basis stated next to each one. Results depend on the market, the product and the team; nothing here is a prediction of what would happen for you.

Nothing here is advice

The articles are opinion and general commentary. They are not professional, financial or investment advice, and several of them are about a market that moves faster than a blog post. Do your own thinking before acting on any of it.

Content and copyright

The writing, layout and code of this site are mine. Client names, logos and trade marks belong to their respective owners and appear here to describe work that was done. Quote or link to the articles by all means — attribution and a link back is the polite version.

Links out

External links go to sites I do not control. I check them when I add them and cannot vouch for what they do afterwards.

Getting in touch

Submitting the contact form starts a conversation and nothing more — it is not an agreement to work together, and neither of us is committed to anything until a scope and a fee are agreed in writing.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

Content placeholder: this is a plain-English website notice, not a reviewed legal document. If you want a lawyer to look at it, this is the page to send them.
